"The more things change, the more they stay the same" characterizes the current post-midterm moment of fascist accommodation that can only be dispelled by determined opposition to life draining business-as-usual agenda sponsored by a ruling class unapologetically thriving on spoils of empire. Our commitment to driving out the Trump/Pence regime can -- must -- facilitate a better future for humankind and the planet.

There is not going to be some savior from the Democratic Party. This whole idea of putting our hopes and energies into "leaders" who tell us to seek common ground with fascists and religious fanatics is proving every day to be a disaster, and actually serves to demobilize people.

House representative Nancy Pelosi would have us unite around... what?
