If the proposal [constitutional convention]Â does qualify for the ballot and passes later this year, it would require all of the convention's meetings to be open to the news media, the public, and even Mr. Yoo's Berkeley law students, who, thanks to that provision, just might get a chance to hear some of their other ideas debated.
