Acceptable torture and torture by mistake; this week's (CIA?) media blitz, spin and mind-f***

Welcome to the new spin (on torture). Same as the old spin.
There are some very smooth and swarmly torture advocates (CIA plants?) making the rounds this week. Are these guys the CIA operatives and plants in mainstream media we have been hearing about? They sure are real dedicated to being punching bags for torture. Scott Shane (CIA plant?) says it was all a mistake on Terry Gross' Fresh Air today; "New York Times reporter Scott Shane covers national-security issues from the newspaper's Washington bureau.
